  • Packing and Storing

    • Flat pack large items wherever possible.
    • Distribute the weight evenly between the boxes, what goes into each box will have to be picked up!
    • Use plenty of bubble wrap to protect fragile items.
    • Clean out fridges, freezers, microwaves etc. then when in the storage unit wedge doors open to prevent nasty smalls and staining.
    • Use the inside of wardrobes as storage space, so once in the unit you can place boxes etc. in them, but don't overdo the weight which could damage the wardrobe floor.
    • Store the heaviest items on the floor and white goods should be stored on top of each other. Plenty of high quality packing materials can be purchased from our box store.
